Rumsfeld vs. the Detainees (two stories)

Here are two reports on what a Senate report had to say about Donald Rumsfeld and the responsibility he bears (along with others) for the abuses of those held in contravention of the Constitution. One is a news report from the LA Times, the other a press release from Senator Carl Levin (D-MI).

SPAM ALERT! SPAM ALERT! SPAM ALERT!

Something sounded fishy about the above post, so I googled "Grrrrrrrrreat blog!!!" (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=%22Grrrrrrrrrreat+blog%21%21%21%22&btnG=Search) and found several other sites to which this person posted exactly the same message.

I don't appreciate people using this blog for advertising purposes, when it should be obvious to anyone with a brain that I don't have ads on this or my other blog. Save for the occasional reminder that I actually have two blogs, and these reminders only appear on the other blog.

So "mberenis" can kiss my ass; if I can find a way to edit out that link without deleting the whole comment I'll do that. At least this person should have asked my permission. I'd have said no, but still...
