Gov's lawyer asks panel to subpoena Obama staff (Associated Press)

This is the legal profession at its sleaziest. If his requests to interview any of Obama's people are refused, and without any cause to conduct such interviews they probably will be, he starts screaming "Cover -up!" loud enough to (he hopes) create "reasonable doubt". If he's granted his interviews he tries to do the same thing using the tried-and-true method of throwing wild accusations and innuendo around. IMHO. -BV

"In a move intended to force public testimony from President-elect Barack Obama's inner circle, a lawyer for Gov. Rod Blagojevich has asked the legislative panel considering impeachment of the governor to subpoena more than a dozen witnesses, including Obama's incoming chief of staff."
